Our main goal is to provide an education that produces patriotic, caring and kind-hearted individuals with real skills, intellectual vitality, a deep understanding of the English language, an appreciation of art, and the capacity to work and live in any environment.
Hobby school was the first school in Mongolia to offer classes in both English and Mongolian languages. We provide a unique education by not only fulfilling the General Education School standards but by also offering Mathematics, History, Literature, Geography, and Science classes in English. SAT and TOEFL preparatory courses are also offered. In addition to organizing a wide range of events that develop students’ interests, talents, and physical health, we have made it an annual tradition to celebrate with the parents our students’ “ABC graduation”, “Drama Festival”, “Spring Festival”, “Poetry Recitation Evening”, “Debate”, and “Spelling Bee”.
Our students are educated through the hard work of over 50 teachers who follow the motto “Knowledge starts from teachers”. Our teachers are knowledgeable in theory, skillful in practice, and possess high moral qualities. Within our teachers we have 3 winners of the “Polar Star” medal, 3 winners of the Honorary Worker medal, 8 Leading Worker of Education and Culture, 2 PhDs, 3 PhD candidates, 11 master’s, and 30 bachelor’s degree holders. We also have one consultant teacher of Mongolia and 58.6% of all teachers have the title of “Leading Educator” or “Educational Methodology Developer”. Our teachers work as a team in providing quality education following the principles of being passionate, understanding, persistent and confident with a goal to make Hobby school a leader not only in Mongolia, but also internationally.
