General Consul of Mongolia to San Francisco Mr. N.Ankhbayar made an opening address on the occasion  of the 2221st Anniversary of the Founding of Mongolia's Statehood - Hun Empire, the 91st anniversary of the People's Revolution, and then underlined that the Mongolia-US ties have been developed in the politics, economics, defense and educational spheres since establishment of the diplomatic relations. He hoped that the bilateral relations will widen further. The Consul pointed out that visits of the Mongolia's President paid to the USA in 2011, and the visit of the US Vice President Joe Biden to Mongolia were expressions of successful development of the bilateral relations and cooperation, and noted opening the General Consulate of Mongolia in San Francisco was a highlight event for the ties. Mr. Ankhbayar believed that the General Consulate will serve as a bridge for the friendly relations and cooperation between the nations. Ms. Hayes congratulated Mongolians on the anniversaries, and expressed her confidence that the General Consulate of Mongolia in San Francisco will significantly contribute to the bilateral relations in trade and economic sectors. She expressed a satisfaction with expanding of the bilateral ties, regularization of high-level visits and development of cooperation in all fields.
