RESULTS OF HORSE-RACE COMPETITIONS IN MONGOLIA

On occasion of the 2220th anniversary of the first Mongolian Statehood--Hun Empire, the 805th anniversary of the Great Mongol Empire, the 100th anniversary of the Revolution of National Freedom, the 90th anniversary of the People's Revolution, the 50th anniversary of joining of Mongolia to the United Nations, and the National Great Festival--Naadam, the horse-race tournaments took place July 10-13 in "Khui Doloon Khudag" horse-race arena near UB.

On July 10, the race of khyazaalan horses took place. In it a horse of B.Dalai from Uvs aimag took the first place ridden by 10-year old G.Chultemsuren. They were followed by a horse of D.Odgerel from Ovorkhangai aimag. The same day, the race of “shudlen” horses ran, in which a horse of a horse-race trainer Sh.Adishaa from Khovd became the winner. On July 12, a horse trained by N.Ijilbayar from Ovorkhangai became the first in the soyoolon age category. In the cutiest race of the daaga, a trained by E.Erdenechuluun from Tov colt took the first place. A horse trained by Ts.Khenmedekh became the champion in the race of stallions. A trained by B.Onormagnai from Ovorkhangai horse became the first in ikh nas age group.
