MSE about to appoint an LSE Executive as President
The LSE is soon to start implementing its Management Contract with the MSE
For the MSE to have a foreign president from the LSE, even for a short term, will give a confidence boost to international investors that the MSE is becoming an attractive investment.
For the first time in the history of the MSE, a foreign specialist from the LSE was elected as the president of the Mongolian Stock Exchange. Though it hasn’t been officially announced by either the MSE or the FRC, specialist Bill Gorman, who has an extensive working experience in IT, security and capital markets, will be in charge of the MSE to further technological renovation and cooperation with stock exchanges abroad.
Also pursuant to the “Master Service Agreement” made with LSE, a management team of three permanent specialists to direct MSE will be selected from the LSE. “The President and the CEO will be in charge of daily operation as well as the Marketing Manager who will take care of promoting the MSE to other international stock exchanges will constitute this team” said O.Sainjargal, a board of the MSE.
