Mayor meets with prominent American lawyer
Mayor G.Munkhbayar received the American lawyer Jonathan Greenberg on Tuesday. Greenburg is a Lecturer in Law at Stanford University Law School in California, as well as counsel to the international law firm Heenan Blaikie.
Greenberg specializes in the assessment and resolution of longstanding international border, boundary, and public policy conflicts.
G.Munkhbayar mentioned that eight Stanford grads work in education and politics in Mongolia, including an advisor to the president, and three Mongolian students are currently enrolled in Stanford’s law program. G.Munkhbayar asked Greenburg to give him more information about the university. Greenberg noted the opportunities for Stanford and the city of Ulaanbaatar to cooperate in education, and in solving problems such as air pollution.
