Exhibit marks birthday of D.Sukhbaatar
February 2 is the 119th anniversary of the birth of Commander D.Sukhbaatar, and the MPP’s Social Democratic Institute is marking the occasion with an exhibit called “Patriot of the 20th Century,” which opened Wednesday at the Theater Museum.
Descendents of D.Sukhbaatar and MPP officials took part in the opening.
The exhibit includes 500 items from the collection of O.Baatar, who has collected D.Sukhbaatar memorabilia for 47 years.
O.Baatar is a driver who is interested in D.Sukhbaatar’s life and achievements, and he says he is not a researcher or a critic. The exhibit includes old photographs, D.Sukhbaatar’s person items, books about the commander, coins, statues, and other items.
