Annual “New Creations” exhibit opens
The annual “New Creations” exhibit opened at the Union of Mongolian Artists on Tuesday.
The exhibit has been held annually since 2008. In it, artists display the one work that they believe represents their best work of the year.
Past exhibits have been very popular with the public. “New Creation 2011” features 150 works of art from Mongolia, including modern and traditional Mongolian paintings, sculptures, felt crafts, calligraphy, drawings, and ceramics. It runs until January 9.
