2,810 get apartment loans

The Apartment Finance Corp has said 2,965 state officials chose their apartments and submitted documents along with their loan request until March 1, 2011. Of them, 2,810 have been granted loans totaling MNT92.1 billion, and the remaining 1,390 will get theirs before June 30.
Of those who have taken a loan, 1,732 are from Ulaanbaatar and 1,078 from the countryside. Of the total, 1,168 live in ger districts at present, 385 in their parents’ houses, 378 in rented apartments and 879 in rented rooms.
Altogether 1,787 people moved into apartments in 130 blocks built with loan from commercial banks that the builders could not repay until they received MNT58.2 billion from the present occupants.
